At JSI, we believe that every person deserves a healthy life. JSI exists to improve the health of underserved people and communities, and to provide a place where people of passion and commitment can pursue this cause.

JSI's international work improves quality, access, and equity within health systems worldwide. We focus on multidisciplinary, gender-sensitive development approaches that galvanize countries, communities, families, and individuals to advance their own skills and create lasting solutions to their priority health and development issues. Drawing on our experience in the field—and together with others in the private, governmental, and nongovernmental sectors—JSI actively shapes and advances the global public health agenda.

We partner with donor agencies, local governments, private-sector firms, nongovernmental organizations and civil society groups because collaboration is the only effective and lasting way to assist a community or government to address public health challenges. JSI has worked in 106 countries around the world on long-term multinational and country-specific projects, as well as a wide variety of short-term projects. Currently, JSI is managing projects in more than 40 countries.
